- Develop software for forward-modeling galaxy kinematics using JWST/NIRCam imaging and grism spectroscopy
- Research high-redshift galaxies and process incoming JWST imaging and spectroscopic data
- Identify and analyze transient and variable sources in JWST survey data
Dorrit Hoffleit Research Scholar
Yale University (Advisors: Prof. Geha & Prof. Bellinger) — June – August 2026
- Studied RR Lyrae stars in the Draco dwarf galaxy using spectroscopic and photometric survey data
- Developed Bayesian statistical methods to measure stellar radial velocities and estimate distances
- Applied stellar-evolution modeling to study the physical properties of pulsating stars
Research in Mathematical Physics — Islands Project
Mathematics Department, University of Arizona (Advisor: Prof. Cherkis) — Oct 2024 – April 2026
- Conducted independent research on Nahm equations, constructing new and higher-order solutions
- Rebuilt the Islands Project website to support student engagement in mathematical physics research
- Recipient of an RII Undergraduate Research Award supporting this project
Grader, Mathematics Department
University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ — Aug 2025 – May 2026
